Anti-Poverty Among Elderly
Aging problem has always been a topic in Hong Kong and the population continues to age quickly with one in every three people expected to be older than 65 in 2066. Among the 7.4 million people in 2017, 1.2 million of population were expected to be over 65 while 100,000 of the population were considered as hidden and singleton elders.
Happy Tree is willing to care about these elders so that they can live happily in the later stages of their lives.
Hong Kong
Hidden and Vulnerable Elder Service
Happy Tree cooperates with local community centers to visit hidden and vulnerable elders on a regular basis; sending blessings to them over Chinese New Year, Dragon Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival.
We also assist local private companies in fulfilling their corporate social responsibilities by arranging visiting the living-alone elderly.
